Antique elm weaving damper from 1808
Height 37 cm.
Width 18 cm.
Beautiful Danish loom from 1808, carved with tulip, initials and the year 1808.
During the 1700s and 1800s, it was quite common for young men to carve loom shutters like these and give them to their sweethearts as a love gift.
They are therefore often beautifully decorated and with fine carvings.
This is with reddish color. With the initials KJD and the year 1808.
It is in good condition with old glued crack.
