Palshus vase, No. 402
Height 12 cm. Width 10 cm.
The vase is signed "Palshus Denmark PLS" and bears the model number 402.
Per Linneman-Schmidt, together with his wife, Annelise Linneman-Schmidt, founded Palshus in 1948. The name "Palshus" is a contraction derived from the names Per and Annelise Linneman-Schmidt. They produced ceramics featuring simple, often solid-colored glazes, clearly inspired by Japanese stoneware. The workshop closed in 1972.
The vase features a soft "hare's fur" glaze in light blue and is in perfect condition.
