Beautiful 19th century chandelier from France.
The chandelier has 8 arms for candles that are all decorated with rocailles and foliage. Its center is a large white opaline bowl, where a stem is with a screen mounted to reflect the light from the candles. This is surrounded by gilded metal in the form of acanthus leaves. A large brass bottom ball is mounted under the bowl.
2 small sockets have been installed in the opaline bowl, which have been given new wires. The lamp is in good condition with old holes from a fitting of wires and sockets in the arms.
