Produktinformation

Beskrivelse

Height 11.5 cm.

Masonic glass first appeared in Holmegaard's catalog in 1853.

After the year 1900 they were no longer part of the catalogue.

Masonic glasses are also called Rakkerglas, due to the tradition of raking with them. To raking is to hit the glass on the table after a finished toast. This was a tradition in inns, taverns and similar places in the 19th century. Most often the glass broke, and the base broke off. Despite their great prevalence in the past, Masonic glasses are therefore rare today.
