Clock glass from Holmegaard
Height 10.5 cm. The ball is loose in the glass, so it can rattle. The watch glass was sold in a box with two glasses. Clock glass was designed by Michael Bang in 1975 for Holmegaard Glasværk. The glass is discontinued after just a few years, as there were major production difficulties in getting the inner ball to lie loose. This had to be inserted while the glass was hot, without melting, so the glass had to be in constant motion.
