Niels Erik From founded the silversmithy at the age of just 23 in 1931. He only began to stamp his jewelry with his own name in 1944. From is particularly known for his beautiful, art nouveau jewelry in silver. These are often set with semi-precious stones or amber.
In the 1950s, From began producing more modern jewelry, such as this bracelet, in a more functionalist style. After selling jewelry designed by other artists with great success in the 1970s and 1980s, Niels Erik From's workshop closed in 1990.
The brooch is in perfect condition with a polished green stone.
