Unusually large Alfred Klitgaard box with chips

Alfred Klitgaard's boxes are characterized by a high quality of joinery - they have a wooden hinge, unlike others that have metal fittings and screws. Normally, these boxes have small partitions, so there is room for playing cards or cigarettes. This is equipped with an insert that slides perfectly into place. In this is a row of chips with painted symbols for the four suits of playing cards. There is room for 2 sets of playing cards. The box is marked on the bottom with "Klitgaard Denmark".

The box is in perfect condition with marks on the bottom, but with a small gap on one side, 1 mm.
