Unusual chandelier from the 1890s
Height 100 cm.
Diameter 35 cm.
Quite an unusual chandelier from the late 1800s. The chandelier is made exclusively with beads and balls. Which is a type we have never seen before. It has a beautiful crown at the top with cut beads on threads and with smooth balls attached. Its chains are with smooth beads that are not pierced but are joined with small fine brass eyelets. Every 6th chain has cut beads on a string, which gives a nice play from its 4 inner sockets, 3 pointing downwards and 1 pointing upwards. In the middle of the prism is a dense base braided with cut beads and flowers in which the bottom chains of cut beads and shiny balls are attached. All around they are decorated with feathers of cut beads. It is finished with flowers attached with a smooth bead.
This is a type of chandelier we have never seen before. It is super nice and definitely needs to be seen in person.
