Unique lidded bowl by Ulla Hjorth
Diameter 19 cm.
Height 12 Stamped UH in continuous script and L.Hjorth Ulla and Maria Hjort owned and worked at the factory from 1982 and for 10 years until it became a working museum. Ulla Hjorth was employed at the factory from 1969 until it closed in 1992. As a student of Richard Kjærgaard, she was a trained functionalist and believed that a piece of pottery should fulfill function before aesthetics. The lidded jar is decorated in brownish colors with a four-leaf clover on the lid.
