Unique lidded bowl by Ulla Hjorth

Diameter 19 cm. Height 12 The stamp UH in continuous writing and L.Hjorth Ulla and Maria Hjort owned and worked at the factory from 1982 and 10 years until it became a working museum. Ulla Hjorth was employed at the factory from 1969 until it closed in 1992. As a student of Richard Kjærgaard, she was trained as a functionalist and believed that a piece of ceramics should fulfill function before aesthetics. The lidded jar is decorated in brownish colors with a four-leaf clover on the lid. It is in perfect condition.
