Unique pitcher by Ulla Hjorth

Height 12 cm. Marked UH in handwriting and L. Hjorth. The pitcher is decorated in blue, white and brown tones. Ulla and Maria Hjorth owned and worked at the factory from 1982 and 10 years until it turned into a working museum. Ulla Hjorth was employed at the factory from 1969 until it closed in 1992. As a student of Richard Kjærgaard, she was a trained functionalist and believed that a piece of ceramics should fulfill function before aesthetics. Item number: 5032
