Tulip glass from Holmegaard Glassworks
Height 10 cm.
The tulip glass first appears in Holmegaard's catalog in 1867. It is discontinued during the 1920s. They differ from hyacinth glasses by being less than half the size of these. The glasses are mouth-blown with a fine crack at the bottom from the glassmaker's rod, which indicates that they are from before 1900. It is with dullness in the glass, glass plague.
