Toddy glass attributed to Flensburg Glasværk
Height 14.5 cm.
The glass is attributed to Flensborg Glassworks. This glassworks is unfortunately relatively poorly described in Danish glass history for several reasons. The lack of catalogue material is definitely the biggest reason and the city's changing status has probably made much archiving work difficult. The glass is attributed to Flensborg Glassworks based on Harald Roesdahl's booklet "Om Flensborg Glassworks" from 1988. It is mouth-blown with fine stripes from the glassmaker's tool, under the end it has a large polished mark. It is ground with the initials JHH and a house and the date 11 May 1865.
Unfortunately, there is widespread glass blight, which looks worse in the pictures than it actually is.
