Teapot from Royal Copenhagen

Height 11 cm. Model number 12440. 1st grade.

Tea can with lid by Royal Copenhagen with motifs of Queen Margrethe II and Dowager Queen Juliane Marie. This is sold without its original box, which states: "We found the drawings for this tea can in our archive. It is from the 1780s. The artist Kaj Lange created the decoration. The silhouette of Queen Margrethe is his own and the silhouette of Dowager Queen Julie Marie is from the Royal Porcelain Factory's Ex Libris, drawn by Thorkild Olsen. The tea can is one of the five things we have made on the occasion of the 200th anniversary, and it is produced in limited numbers."
