Sugar bowl from Holmegaard 1865

Height 8.5 cm. Diameter 9.5 cm.

Candy bowl, candy dish, candy dish, sugar bowl - dear child has many names. The base is underneath with a sharp bend. The base is attached and shaped in a wooden spoon. The stem is inverted baluster-shaped and the bowl itself is cylindrical with a sharp outward edge. The dish appears in Holmegaard's catalog from 1865 and some years later.

It has a few small chips on the rim.
