Sugar dish from Holmegaard 1865

Height 8.5 cm. Diameter 9.5 cm. Canesugar bowl, candy dish, sugar dish dear child has many names. The foot is with a snapped sharp pontil. The foot is attached and shaped in a wooden spoon. The stem is a reversed baluster and the bowl itself is cylindrical with a sharp outward edge. The sugar dish is listed in Holmegaards cataloque from 1865 and onwards. The dish have a few minor flaws at the edge. Item number: 11834
