Sugar dish from the 1850'ish

Height 10 cm. Diameter 17 cm. Unusually decorated sugar dish from the mid 1800s. It is mouth blown with a large polished pontil underneath. The dish has a so-called cut edge, so it appears to have a serrated edge. It has a strong baluster-shaped stem and a distinct molex between foot and stem. On the underside it is painted with white enamel in circles of oak leaves, threads and bunches of grapes. The sugar dish is in good condition. Item number: 6526
