LARGE Paul red wine glass

Height 16.5 cm. This is the very large red wine glass originally sold as a beer glass. Dear child has many names, but the glass is called Paul and not Povl or Poul. Paul is an import service from Val Saint Lambert, where the glass is called Paul Premier, named after a Belgian king. The glass was in production at Holmegaard in the period 1917 to 1930, when the glass was discontinued. It is a mouth-blown crystal glass with an air-filled stem. The glass is ground with facets up the stem, and on the cuppa itself.
