Large green Fionia dish

Height 15 cm. "Diameter" 27 cm.

Fionia was designed by Per Lütken in 1953 for Holmegaard Glasværk and discontinued in the 1970s. The series consists of this bowl in at least 5 sizes in 4 colors. The series was designed for Illums Bolighus. The bowl is inflated like a balloon, spun quickly. The glassmaker has then quickly stopped this rotation and sucked the air back through the glassmaker's rod, causing the glass to collapse and twist into this shape.

The bowl has signs of wear.
