Black Kristian Vedel melamine lid, 14 cm.

Diameter 14 cm. Kristian Vedel designed a series of stackable plates and bowls in 1955 for Torben Ørskov's shop "Form&Farver". It is to this series that this lid belongs. In 1961, this series, made of melamine, won a gold medal at La Triennale di Milano. The series ends around 1972, in connection with the oil crisis, as melamine is extracted from crude oil and could no longer be produced. They are in good condition.
