Rare purple Royal Copenhagen set

Height 8-9 cm.

Extremely rare purple sugar bowl and creamer set from Royal Copenhagen. The set was designed by Arnold Krogh for Royal Copenhagen in the 1880s as a variant of the rare Bat set which is decorated in blue, a variant of the Blue Fluted set. The set is decorated with "wings" painted in purple, of which the "wings" are in light relief. Its gold edges are in very nice condition, very shiny, It is stamped from the 1880s with painter's signature in purple.

The sugar bowl has a chip on the edge and the creamer has a glued handle. Otherwise the set is in perfect condition.
