Rare Holmegaard hyacint glass

Height 22 cm. The glass have some scratches to the "belly" and a little glass sickness. The hyacinth glass is a rare variation of Holmegaard's famous "Hyacinth Glass No. 7" from 1853. This glass has been added a hollow bead, flared edge and a little stem underneath the balustrade body. The glass is with a sharp pontil at the bottom, indicating that it is before 1870. Underneath is still a piece of the piece of glass from the glassmakers wand. Item number: 6135
