Rare Royal Copenhagen vase with pawn

Height 18 cm.

1st grade. Unusual vase from Royal Copenhagen, decorated in overglaze and gold edges. It is decorated on the front with a "Sjællandsk Bonde" smoking a pipe and flowers on the back. It has no decoration number but was probably intended for Carl Martin Hansen's series of regional figures from the 1920s.
