Rare art nouveau vase from Royal Copenhagen
Height 15 cm.
Model number 340/1340 1st grade. The vase has a few glaze flaws. Art Nouveau was the style period from about 1900 to 1920. The time was characterized by inspiration from the elements of nature, animals and plant life. The style got its name from a shop in Paris that opened in 1868 and sold imported Japanese porcelain, this was called L'art Nouveau. This vase has flowers in relief, which is very rare to find. Note the four small legs that the vase stands on.
