Red Kristian Vedel melamine tall bowl

Height 11 cm. Diameter 19 cm. Kristian Vedel designed a series of stackable plates and bowls in 1955 for Torben Ørskov's shop "Form&Farver". It is to this series that these belong. In 1961, this series, made of melamine, won a gold medal at La Triennale di Milano. The series is discontinued around 1972, in connection with the oil crisis, as melamine is extracted from crude oil and could no longer be produced. It is in perfect condition with a slight color difference.
