Red Carneval vase

Height 13 cm. Width 12.5 cm. The vase is signed II S meaning it was sold to an employe. Carneval or Phantasy was designed by Christel Holmgren-Exner in 1970 for Holmegaard Glassworks and was discontinued just a few years later. The series was intended to be a bar and drinks series, but was relatively complicated and therefore expensive to make. Every single part is to be considered unique as each part is decorated differently. The series came in blue, yellow and red and combinations thereof. The vase is in good condition with a nearly invisibly line around the middle. Item number: 6735
