Rasmus Bøgebjerg busts from L. Hjorth

Height 20 cm. Width 19 cm. Marked L. Hjorth Bornholm 537 B. The B is Rasmus Bøgebjerg's artist signature. L. Hjorth's factory in Bornholm was founded in 1859 and still exists, owned by the same family. The bust was designed in the 1890s by Rasmus Bøgebjerg who was hired at the factory for a number of years in the late 1800s. Rasmus Bøgebjerg has among other things made a portrait bust of Herman Bang in 1882 and a statue of N.F.S. Grundtvig in 1903. Item number: 3999
