Pink marbled vase from Fyens Glasværk

Height 23 cm.

Fyens Glasværk began producing marbled glass in the late 1880s. Adolf Brock's recipe book from 1889 contains the recipe for the glass mass, which is the earliest description of this special type of glass from Danish glassworks. The type is also called hyalite.

The vase is in white and pink colors with beautiful stripes/marbling. The vase is mouth-blown and shaped in a wooden spoon, cracked and later heated at the top.

The vase has a few chips at the top.
