Paperweight in stone

Diameter 10.5 cm. Unusual paperweight in carved agate from the late 19th century. On the surface this just looks like a rough stone cut into slices, but it is revealed to be cut from agate with a crystal center - we do not know the exact name of the stone. The stone is cut into curved pieces so that they slide nicely around each other. It is in good condition.
