Oreste port wine glass

Height 11 cm. Oreste is originally a Belgian import glass from Val Saint Lambert. Holmegaard enters the first import agreement with this glasswork in 1871 for 34 glass series and even produces a number of these in the period between 1910 and 1930, on a license. Today it is not possible to separate the Danish glass from the imported glass. Oreste has been sold in Denmark from 1915 until 1962. The glass is made of lead crystal glass and has a nice ring to it.
