Optically twisted manganese colored hyacinth glass

Antique German hyacinth glass, zweibel glass, in a rare manganese color.

Hyacinth glass appears in Danish glassworks around 1840 and first appears in Holmegaard's catalogs in 1853 in baluster shape, optically twisted and smooth versions. This hyacinth glass is very similar to Holmegaard's "Zweibelglas on foot", there are a few differences that make me not with 100% certainty attribute this glass to be Holmegaard.

The glass is slightly matte. The glass has a sharp break at the bottom, which dates it to the time before 1860.
