Blue Fluted Soup Terrine with Saucer
Length of tureen 35 cm. Width of tureen 21 cm.
Length of the saucer 46 cm. Width of the saucer 27.5 cm.
Model number 1/360 for the terrine and 1/218 for the saucer.
Both parts are stamped from the period 1923 to 1928.
Both parts are 2nd grade with black grit in the glaze. The saucer has an old production crack on the standing edge. The terrine itself has been sanded on the underside from the factory so that it is not crooked.
Royal Copenhagen began producing Blue Fluted Plate as tableware no. 1 in 1775 and continues to produce it. The motif is a stylized version of the classic Chinese flower painting, which is several thousand years old.
