Mussel-painted fluted lion crest

Decoration number 1/15 - also called the lion's mane.

1st and 2nd grade. Perfect condition.

Royal Copenhagen began producing Blue Fluted Plate as tableware no. 1 in 1775 and continues to produce it. The motif is a stylized version of the classic Chinese flower painting, which is several thousand years old.
