Moss green Modest white wine glass

Height 12 cm.

Modeste is one of Holmegaard Glasværk's imported services from 1917, from Val Saint Lambert, Belgium. The glass was discontinued during the 1930s, after having been produced in Denmark for a short number of years after World War I.

The glass is mouth-blown crystal glass with an etched decoration, a guilloche in the form of an a la grecque border with a double acanthus leaf in between.

Modeste can be described as the rarest service from Holmegaard.
