Manganese colored frill bowl
Diameter 20.5 cm.
Height 7 cm.
Beautiful, fully colored bowl in purple/manganese colored glass from around 1900-1920. The bowl is handmade and has a large polished mark on the bottom from the glassmaker's wand.
It is cut with wide facets that form the ruffled edge. This is polished.
Very reminiscent of Joseph Hoffman's vases for the Wiener Werkstätte.
The bowl has a burst air bubble and is otherwise in good condition.
