Light green Oreste white wine glass

Height 13.5 cm.

Oreste is originally a Belgian import glass from Val Saint Lambert.

Holmegaard entered into the first import agreement with this glassworks in 1871 for 34 glass services and produced a number of these in the period from 1910 to 1930.

Today it is not possible to distinguish Danish glass from imported glass. Oreste has been sold in Denmark since 1915, and it was discontinued in 1962.
