Lion jug from Bing & Grøndahl

Beautiful so-called "Lion jug" from Bing & Grondahl. The model was originally intended for punch or cocoa. It is decorated with beautiful gold edges that have natural wear, see the handle.

It is painted overglaze with purple violets on both sides. The jug has its original lid.
