Livø carafe by Michael Bang for Holmegaard Glasværk

The carafe is not marked as 2nd grade, but it sways somewhat to one side, hence the low price.

In 1983, Michael Bang designed a series of carafes for Holmegaard Glasværk, named after Danish islands. He designed a total of seven carafes: Bogø, Fanø, Fejø, Livø, Mandø, Samsø and Venø.

Livø is a double carafe with a hollow stopper, in which you can have flavor and a purer schnapps in the lower carafe.
