Kristian Vedel melamine pepper mill

Height 6.5 cm. The pepper mill is in good functional condition. Kristian Vedel designed a series of stackable plates and bowls in 1955 for Torben Ørskov's shop "Form&Farver". It is to this series that this set belongs. In 1961, this series, made of melamine, won a gold medal at La Triennale di Milano. The series is discontinued around 1972, in connection with the oil crisis, as melamine is extracted from crude oil and could no longer be produced.
