Confectionery set from the 1880s
Height 13 cm.
Length 10 cm.
Unusual confectionery bowl in yellowish glass from the late 1800s.
It is mouth-blown and has a polished edge. The stem is baluster-shaped, with a small knob and the foot has a small protrusion. The shape can best be described as a shell.
Originally this bowl was part of a larger set, possibly 12 in total, and a higher stand around which these mussels were placed. Note that one side is a little flat, probably intended to be placed on a higher stand.
It is in perfect condition.
