Carafe with reversed bars

Height 27.5 cm.

Beautifully polished carafe from the late 19th century.

It has facets at the base, above the shoulder and with a pointed stopper, the two bolts are ground with intersecting facets, all of which makes it difficult to determine where it comes from.

The pointed stopper is a classic feature for carafes from Aalborg Glassworks, grindings at the foot and over the shoulder are offered at almost all Danish glassworks, but the two bolts are not offered at any Danish glassworks.

The carafe is in exceptionally good condition with a minimal dent on the pointed stopper.
