Ice flower carafe for Kastrup Glasværk

Height 21 cm. Carafe with inwards sides from Kastrup Glasværk. It is marked below with a shield that says KG and the text 75 cl. Ice flower is made in a very special way, which Jacob Bang got inspiration for from Sweden. There they had done experiments with applying wood glue to the glass and letting it dry on heating pipes, which gave a "crushed" surface when the glue jumped off and took the outer layer of the glass with it. Carafe must be considered cheating glass as it has a pinch on the neck. Item number: 7561
