Ice flower canteen bottle

Height 22 cm. Ice flower is designed by Jacob E. Bang for Holmegaard in 1934. The series consists of both drinking glasses, jugs and decanters. Ice flower is produced in a very special way, which Jacob Bang got inspiration to from Sweden. They had made experiments with applying wood glue to the glass and let it dry on the heating pipes, whereby the object got a "crushed" surface when the glue leapt off and took the glasses outer layer with it.
