Firepot lid for pot by Grethe Meyer for Royal Copenhagen

Diameter 21 cm. Model number 22516. The lid fits model number 22510 and 22511. There is a difference in color on the lids. Grethe Meyer designed Fire Pot for Royal Copenhagen in 1976. The series was taken out of production around 1986. She was asked to develop a series of fireproof dishes and bowls that could go from freezer to oven. Fire pot goes straight from the freezer to the hot oven, on the grill, gas stove and electrical plates. All parts are dishwasher proof, besides the teak trivets. Item number: 2341
