Hornblæser stage by Christel and Christer Holmgren

Height 14 cm. The stand was designed for and produced by Illums Bolighus in the 1960s. They are stamped "Made in Denmark - Pat. Pending". The horn blower stand is made of solid cast iron and has room for six candles. It is also produced in a version with space for three candles - this is stackable, like Nagel stands, for example. The stand has lacquered "feet" so that it does not scratch a wooden table. It is possible to put ordinary crown candles in the one or the long candle sticks/flower sticks or candles. Christel and Christer Holmgren Exner are a Swedish/Austrian design couple who settled in Denmark in the 1960s. The married couple has, among other things, designed Blue Time and Rosaline for Holmegaard, Melamine kitchen utensils for Rosti, steel for Lundtofte and much, much more. The stands are both original from the 1960s.
