Holmegaard wine glass No. 1 with grinding

Beautiful wine glass from Holmegaard Glassworks.

The glass appears in the glassworks' catalogue from 1853 as "No. 1". This glass has the rare flower cut, the pointed leaf cut.

This cut has long been difficult to date as having been made at Holmegaard Glassworks, but since one finds "Wine Glass No. 12", which is exclusively made at Holmegaard Glassworks with this cut, this fine flower cut could now be safely attributed to Holmegaard.

The glass is in good condition with finely cut berries between the pointed leaves.
