Holmegaard's first preserved catalogue is from 1853, in which this glass appears. At that time, the glasses were not named, they were simply given numbers.

This glass is simply called no. 28 and is one of the rarest glasses from the 1853 catalog.

It is mouth-blown with a clear crack at the bottom. It has a blown look, stripes on the cuppa and a clear bead between the foot and stem. The glass has natural signs of wear.
