Tall Alvar Aalto Savoy vase

Height 20 cm. Alvar Aalto designed the Savoy vase in 1936, in collaboration with his wife Aino Aalto to the Savoy Restaurant in Helsinki, which opened the following year. The vase of part of the couple's overall layout of the place. The vase has been produced by Finnish Iittala since 1937, where the vase entered a design competition in 1936. The vase has model number 3031, was produced by Iitalla and signed Alvar Aalto. It is in good condition with 2 mini scratches on the edge. Item number: 10541
