Gray marbled vase from Fyens Glasværk

Fyens Glasværk begins production of marbled glass in the late 1880s.

Adolf Brock's recipe book from 1889 contains the recipe for the glass mass, which is the earliest description of this special type of glass from Danish glassworks. The type is also called hyalite.

The vase is in white and grey colors with beautiful stripes/marbling. The vase is mouth-blown and shaped in a wooden spoon, blown and later heated at the top.
