Smooth Wellington champagne flute

Højde 16.5 cm. Wellington is seen in Holmegaard's catalog already in 1853 and is produced from 1867 as a full glass series of 12 sizes. The glass is manufactured until the mid-1920s. Wellington is made in this smooth version and a semi-faceted version. Both are with a thick bottom and button on the stem. This glass is with polished pontil indicating that it is before 1880. The glass is a little cloudy, which is difficult to capture in pictures. Item number: 8671
