French Gothic house altar from 1878

Beautifully detailed house altar from 1878.

It is made of silver-plated brass and has a lot of fine details. The back is inscribed "Souvenir 17 fevrier 1857 29 janvier 1878 Raffaut a Rennes".

It can be opened and the inside shows a wide range of biblical scenes, including the Virgin Mary with the baby Jesus, the 3 Wise Men and Saint Peter.

The altar has a suspension but also has threads at the bottom, so something has been attached.
