A pair of rare Holmegaard cups

Height 21.5 cm.

A pair of rare goblets, beer glasses or red wine glasses from Holmegaard Glassworks.

They appear in the glassworks' catalogue from 1900 as "No. 132". Producing such a glass has been a challenge even for an experienced glassblower, as all the knobs on the stem must not fit together. The bowl is ground with two rows of olives or skels.

The glasses are in very good condition. One glass has a slight coating that we have not been able to remove.
